Great Britain Intends to Lift Certain Trade Sanctions from Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. At the end of the transition period after leaving the European Union, the United Kingdom intends to abolish a number of EU trade countermeasures against Russia. This decision was published on February 6 on the official website of the British government.
The list of Russian export goods from which Britain is going to remove anti-dumping duties includes the following: aluminium foil; ferrosilicon (silicon-iron alloy); seamless pipes made of metal and cast iron; casing fittings made of steel or cast iron; urea.
At the same time, even after Brexit, Great Britain is going to uphold the duties imposed by the EU on imports from Russia of the following: ammonium nitrate; cold rolled flat products; hot rolled flat products; electric steel.
