OREANDA-NEWS. German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development, Gerd Muller said that China must be fully open to the question of the emergence of a new coronavirus.

According to him, the version that SARS-CoV-2 had appeared in one of the laboratories in the city of Wuhan should be clarified. “The Chinese must demonstrate full openness during current global crisis, especially with regard to the origin of the virus,” Muller stated.

Recently, assumptions that a new type of coronavirus was artificially created in Wuhan have begun to sound more often. Such versions are supported by American channel Fox News and British media, citing intelligence service of the United Kingdom, as well as US President Donald Trump. The latter promised to examine the oddities connected with the pandemic and threatened Beijing with consequences if it was guilty.
