OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed government ministers to resolve the issue of increasing salaries for firefighters by August 1. The corresponding instruction is given on the basis of a straight line.

 “To ensure that the level of remuneration of employees of fire departments of the EMERCOM of Russia in 2019 is up to 24 thousand rubles per month, and since 2020 - up to 32 thousand rubles per month,” says a document addressed to the heads of the Ministry of Finance and the Emergencies Ministry.

 Earlier, the headquarters of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Kaliningrad region reported that employees of the federal fire service are divided into two categories: certified (that is, having special ranks of internal service) and civilian.  Their salary differs markedly and varies depending on the position, length of service, class preparation for participation in extinguishing particularly complex fires.

 If the first, according to GUMChS, on average receive about 40 thousand rubles, the second is the average salary of 16 thousand rubles.
