According to eyewitnesses, he could have arrived on a night flight from Italy. After passing the border, he left the airport accompanied by security. Next to him was his wife Avdotya Smirnova. Earlier, Chubais, who left Russia after the start of the special operation, did not come to the court, where he is being held as a victim.

At the same time, the representatives of the politician said that the Chubais had not been to Italy for several years, he had no property there and flew from another country, without protection, they passed a PCR test.

Press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the politician is abroad, so the Kremlin has no opportunity and desire to monitor his fate. According to him, Chubais is abroad and no longer works in Russia.
