OREANDA-NEWS. In 2021, new rules for entry into the European Union will come into force.

In accordance with the law approved by the European Parliament, a system called European Authorization and Travel Information System (ETIAS) will be launched in a year. It is a single database of travellers entering the eurozone. Only residents of countries exempted from visa requirements will need authorization.

As for Ukraine, its residents, for whom a visa-free regime is in effect now, will have to undergo an additional paid check next year. They will be able to obtain permission to enter the EU by providing a number of documents and paying 7 euros.
