Erdogan Told about Negotiations with Russia and China on Vaccines against Coronavirus
OREANDA-NEWS. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the country is negotiating the supply of vaccines against coronavirus of a new type with Russia and China. On this topic, he made a statement in an interview with reporters on December 4.
“Negotiations are taking place not only with China, but also with Russia. We are talking about health. Of course, we will do everything necessary to protect our health,” Erdogan said. The President added that he is ready to be vaccinated himself in order to set an example for citizens.
On November 25, it became known that Turkey will soon begin toxicological tests of a Russian vaccine against COVID-19.
On December 11, the first batch of Chinese vaccine against coronavirus will be delivered to Turkey. Earlier, Erdogan said that vaccination will be free.
