OREANDA-NEWS. Security forces began to detain activists and doctors who went to the correctional colony No. 2 in the Vladimir region with a demand for the admission of doctors to the opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

«We were briefly detained in Pokrov. We're the police. It still looks like a shabby entrance», the journalist Dmitry Nizovtsev wrote on Twitter. The doctors were not allowed to meet either with Navalny or with the management of the colony in Pokrov.

The day before, the Federal Penitentiary Service said, that Navalny was transferred from the colony to the medical and sanitary unit. The cause was the signs of a respiratory illness, including a high fever, that were detected in him.

Earlier, Navalny reported an outbreak of tuberculosis in the colony where he is serving his sentence. As the oppositionist wrote, «today already the third person from his group was hospitalized with tuberculosis». At the same time, there are only 15 people in the squad, so there is an excess of the epidemiological threshold.
