OREANDA-NEWS. Polish Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Glinski proposed to the international community to suspend Russia and Belarus from participating in sports competitions. The reason is the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. His words are quoted by Polska Times.
«The international pressure on these two regimes — Belarusian and Russian — should be much stronger. I would even consider the possibility of excluding these two countries from many international organizations, including from important sports competitions for them», Glinsky said.
According to the politician, the Russian and Belarusian authorities act inhumanly and do not take into account anything other than real economic or political pressure.
Earlier it was reported that a group of migrants from a spontaneous camp reached the checkpoint on the border of Belarus and Poland. Some of the refugees broke through the checkpoint.
