Charite Clinic Published an Article on the Treatment of Navalny
OREANDA-NEWS. Doctors from the Berlin clinic Charite published an article in the authoritative scientific journal Lancet, describing the treatment of Russian oppositionist Aleksey Navalny. The publication describes the symptoms recorded in the patient, the effect of the antidote on treatment, and the general clinical picture of such cases.
Doctors point out that Navalny was diagnosed with a complete clinical picture characteristic of organophosphate poisoning: slow heartbeat, sweating, constricted pupils. These symptoms were recorded by a medical team that was involved in delivering Navalny by airplane to Berlin and allowed to make a preliminary diagnosis. It was confirmed after the German doctors detected a strong suppression of cholinesterase activity in the patient’s body.
After taking antidotes and intensive therapy at the Charite clinic, the patient recovered completely, the article says.
