Biden plans to introduce a nationwide mask regime through cooperation with state governors. If they refuse, the head of the White House will negotiate with counties.

The United States is at the first place in the world in the number of cases of COVID-19 detected. According to the Johns Hopkins University, 9.9 million people were infected with coronavirus of a new type in the country. 3.8 million were cured, 237 thousand died. Currently, the mandatory wearing of masks is established in less than half of the states.
