OREANDA-NEWS. The headquarters of the united Belarusian opposition intends to complete the formation of the Coordination Council for the Transfer of Power on Tuesday. It will include 70 people.
This was reported by Olga Kovalkova, an authorized delegate of ex-presidential candidate Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. “We intend to complete it today, it will include 70 people. There are several hundred applications received. We have already announced names of some of the citizens who have entered it, the rest will also include authoritative people,” she said.
On August 17, Kovalkova published on Facеbook a list of 35 members of the Coordination Council. According to her, they were selected taking into account the interests of the citizens of Belarus. The politician added that the extended list may include delegates from the largest enterprises of the country.
