OREANDA-NEWS.  Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak.

The President once again expressed his profound condolences following the air disaster over Ukrainian territory, and passed on his words of sympathy and support to the victims’ families.

Both leaders said it was important to ensure an objective international investigation into the disaster’s causes. An immediate end to the military operations in southeast Ukraine would make it easier to conduct the needed investigation.
