OREANDA-NEWS.   Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron.

During their conversation, Vladimir Putin and David Cameron focused particularly on the situation in Syria, in light of media reports about the possible use of chemical weapons near Damascus.

The two leaders also discussed issues pertaining to the upcoming G20 summit in St Petersburg on September 5-6.

The conversation took place on the British side’s initiative.
