OREANDA-NEWS. Vladimir Putin and Igor Shuvalov discussed extension of the deadline for cost-free privatisation of housing.

The President noted that this issue is the subject of public concern and has been raised both in the parliament and by regional governors. Earlier, in response to this, Mr Putin asked the Government to review the matter and draft proposals.

Mr Shuvalov informed the President that the Government is now submitting the resulting proposals to the State Duma.
