OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2013.  Social sector issues, including healthcare modernisation, public sector pay rises, and developing Moscow’s transport infrastructure, were the main subjects of discussion.

Mr Sobyanin said that two big infrastructure projects are underway to improve Moscow’s public transport situation: construction of new metro lines, and construction of suburban railways, which will do a lot to help relieve the strain on the city’s transport system.

Mr Putin said that the federal authorities are ready to give their support to Moscow’s transport development plans.
