Turkmenistan and USA to Intensify Political, Economic Dialogue
OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2013. Representative of the State Department of the USA for Eurasian energy Mr. Daniel Stain, who arrived on a visit in the Turkmen capital, was received at the Parliament of Turkmenistan.
In the course of the meeting, the guest was familiarized with major trends of home and foreign policy of independent neutral Turkmen state as well as with priority aspects of constructive reforms, taking place in the country.
During negotiations, the representative of the State Department of friendly country underlined the interest of the USA in further intensification of political, economic and cultural dialogue with dynamically developing Turkmenistan.
As it was noted, both countries pay particular attention to major aspects of bilateral relations, which are of mutual interest, particularly in fuel-energy sphere. According to the words of Mr. Daniel Stain, the USA highly appreciates the energy strategy of Turkmenistan and its positive initiatives related to the maintenance of global energy security and development of wide international cooperation. In this connection, it was noted the increasing interest of business circles of the world, including the leading American companies, in perspective Turkmen market and large projects, being realized in oil and gas sector.
In the course of the negotiations, it was underlined that Turkmenistan is always open for equitable and efficient cooperation with all foreign partners. Successively realizing the energy strategy, being guided by principles of modernization of the national fuel-energy complex and diversification of export routes of Turkmen energy bearers to the world markets, our country gained a solid experience in realization of scale projects of regional and international significance, particularly in gas sphere, and comes out for further development of productive interaction in this trend.
The meeting participants expressed the confidence in further successful deepening and expansion of mutually beneficial bilateral dialogue and utmost development of traditional relations of friendship and equitable partnership.
