OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2013.  Various aspects of the Turkmen-Iranian cooperation were discussed during the meeting held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Mejlis of Turkmenistan with a member of parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran Javad Karimi Godusi.

As part of the exchange of views of meeting participants were confirmed the continued commitment of Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran a constructive partnership which are called for expanding bilateral cooperation, built on the principles of mutual respect, equality and consideration of mutual interests. As noted, a great importance for the further development of the Turkmen-Iranian cooperation has parliamentary relations, acting as an essential factor to strengthen the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and peoples.
