OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych has made changes in the structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and on submission of the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has appointed member of the Government.

In the structure of executive power the changes occurred under the Decree of the President of Ukraine № 726/2012 "On some measures to optimize the central authorities."

Due to the reorganization of the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the State Tax Service it has been set up the Ministry of Incomes and Fees of Ukraine.

Also it has been set up the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine on the basis of the reorganization of the State Agency of Ukraine for state corporate rights and property.

In addition, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has been the established through reorganization of the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine and the State Inspection of man-caused security of Ukraine.

In accordance with the relevant decrees of the President new members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine were appointed.

Serhiy Arbuzov was appointed the First vice Prime Minister, who will ensure the fulfillment of tasks and powers in the areas of agrarian policy and food, economic development, trade, social policy, finances, revenues and duties

Yuriy Boyko was appointed vice Prime Minister, who will ensure the fulfillment of tasks and powers in the spheres of ecology, natural resources, energy, coal industry and industrial policy.

Vice Prime Minister Oleksander Vilkul will ensure the fulfillment of tasks and powers in the areas of infrastructure, regional development, construction, utilities and housing economy

Kostyantyn Hryschenko was also named as vice Prime Minister.

Ministers in a new Cabinet of Ministers, headed by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov are:

Yuriy Kolobov - Finance Minister;
Ihor Prasolov - Minister of Economic Development and Trade;
Eduard Stavytsky - Energy and Coal Industry Minister;
Volodymyr Kozak - Infrastructure Minister;
Hennady Temnyk - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Services;
Oleh Proskuriakov - Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources;
Natalia Korolevska - Minister of Social Policy;
Oleksander Klymenko- Minister of Incomes and Fees;
Pavlo Lebedev - Defense Minister;
Vitaly Zakharchenko - Interior Minister;
Leonid Kozhara - Minister of Foreign Affairs;
Raisa Bohatyriova - Health Minister;
Dmytro Tabachnyk - Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine;
Oleksander Lavrynovych - Minister of Justice;
Prysyazhnyuk Mykola - Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

The President has determined that Minister of Cabinet of Ministers Olena Lukash will be responsible for general management of the Cabinet's Secretariat and its head and support the effective operation of the Government.

Viktor Yanukovych also appointed Mykhaylo Bolotsky Head of the State Emergency Service.
