OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2012. EurAsEC Interstate Council summit took place in the Kremlin. Reforming the Community and improving its mechanisms were the main subjects on the agenda.

The heads of state reviewed various financial aspects of the organisation’s functioning including EurAsEC 2011 budget performance, budget address, and 2013 budget.

Following the summit, a package of 15 documents was approved, including the resolutions on the chairman and deputy chairman of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community, on the chairman of the EurAsEC Integration Committee, and on the next summit of the Community.

The summit was attended by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and EurAsEC Secretary-General Tair Mansurov.
