OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2012. Ukraine is interested in cooperation as with the countries of the Customs Union and the European Union. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said this on Saturday in an interview with First National TV channel.

"Our country is between two formations, which are in their essence and their status are customs unions. Both we need to find synergy and find opportunities for the development of our economy: for mutual trade, for a variety of cooperative projects", the Prime Minister said.

He recalled that by about one third of Ukrainian trade account for countries of the Customs Union and the European Union, so our country is interested in cooperation with both organizations. "We are currently holding talks with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. We must find ways to interact with the Customs Union so that we do not have the problems that now arise", Mykola Azarov summed up.
