OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2012. Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council to discuss current social and economic issues and the international situation, in particular Russia’s relations with the European Union.

Taking part in the meeting were Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov, and permanent member of the Security Council Boris Gryzlov.
