President of Turkmenistan received Regional Representative/Regional Coordinator for Central Asia of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Mr. Saber Azam, who arrive in the Turkmen capital on a working visit, and Head of the UNHCR Office in Turkmenistan, Ms. Milagros Leynes.

The priority aspects and prospects of traditional partnership built on a long-term basis, including in such important area as humanitarian sphere were discussed during the meeting.

Calling for further comprehensive enhancing of the fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Regional Representative/Regional Coordinator for Central Asia of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Mr. Saber Azam expressed belief in successful continuation of the long-term partnership in the interest of peace and wellbeing throughout the world.
