President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with President of the Council of State and the President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, Raul Castro in Rio de Janeiro, where he was participating in the UN Conference on Sustainable Development Rioplus20.

The talks also focused on the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres. The sides touched upon the possibilities to promote partnership in the investment, tourism and recreation sectors and the humanitarian sphere, particularly in health care.
