OREANDA-NEWS.  January 16, 2012. Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting of the State Council Presidium on measures to increase state guarantees of consumer rights protection in Saransk.

Before the meeting, the President visited the Techno-Park Mordovia computer centre, where he looked at new Russian developments in electrical instrument making, energy conservation, nano-materials, and information technology. Mr Medvedev also visited one of the city’s auto service centres.

The President had a working meeting with Head of Mordovia Nikolai Merkushkin, with the social and economic situation in the region the main subject of discussion.
