OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2011. Dmitry Medvedev was given the names of candidates to consider for the position of Governor of Vologda Region.

On December 14, 2011 the President accepted resignation of Vologda Region Governor Vyacheslav Pozgalev; Oleg Kuvshinnikov was appointed acting governor of the region.
