OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2011. Dmitry Medvedev took part in the second round of the United Russia party congress. The congress’ first round took place on September 23–24 in Moscow.

At its second round, the congress voted to make Prime Minister Vladimir Putin its candidate in the presidential election.

After the congress, Mr Medvedev and Mr Putin met with people on United Russia’s regional election lists.
