OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2011. Opening the meeting, the President congratulated all of Russia’s women on Mother’s Day, which Russia celebrates on November 27.

The meeting discussed current social issues, in particular developing the pre-school education system, sports for children and youth, support for single mothers and families raising children with disabilities, and the problem of youth alcoholism.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin also took part in the meeting.
