OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2011. During the meeting, Dmitry Medvedev informed the Deputy Prime Minister that he had signed the law on security of fuel and energy facilities. The President instructed Mr Sechin to draw up a list of critical facilities in the fuel and energy sector as quickly as possible.

In addition, Dmitry Medvedev signed a law increasing liability for violating safety and counter-terrorist security requirements of fuel and energy facilities.

Separately, the President and the Deputy Prime Minister discussed support for projects on developing mineral resources on the shelf of the Black Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk, north of the Arctic Circle and in the Yamal Peninsula.
