OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2011. Mr Lukin presented to Dmitry Medvedev his report on the state of human rights in Russia in 2010.

Also discussed at the meeting was the collective report drafted at the request of the Council of Europe’s secretary general by the representatives of nine countries, including Russia, on the situation in Europe in areas such as migration, interfaith relations, and interethnic conflicts.

Mr Medvedev expressed his condolences during the meeting to the family of well-known human rights activist Yelena Bonner, who passed away in Boston on June 18.
