OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2011. Chinese President Hu Jintao said on Thursday during a visit to Moscow that both Russia and China want to continue pushing forward energy cooperation.

"Cooperation in the field of energy is a key area in practical cooperation between China and Russia," Hu said after meeting his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.
"Both sides are willing to keep pushing forward this cooperation on a mutually beneficial, win-win basis," he added.

China and Russia are in the middle of a dispute over the pricing of gas which is to be supplied to China. Hu made no mention of that spat.
