OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2011. Dmitry Medvedev discussed bilateral cooperation with Hamid Karzai, in particular, Russia’s involvement in rebuilding Afghanistan’s economy.

Also taking part in the meeting on the Russian side were Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Presidential Aide Sergei Prikhodko, and Special Presidential Envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit.
