OREANDA-NEWS. June 07, 2011. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov received on June 6 the participants of the Russian-US High-Level Group, a non-governmental dialogue mechanism established in 2009 under the auspices of the Russian Institute for Contemporary Studies (INSOR) and the US Council on Foreign Relations.

The representatives of the bilateral community of expert analysts described the work of the Second High-Level Group Meeting being held these days in Moscow. Taking part in the conversation were Igor Ivanov, INSOR Chairman Igor Yurgens, President of the New York-based Council on Foreign Relations Richard Haas, prominent US political scientists James Lindsay, Robert Blackwill, Stephen Sestanovich and others.

An exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues on the Russian-US agenda, as well as topical international and regional problems.
