OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2011. Dmitry Medvedev visited the studio and broadcasting complex of the National State Television and Radio Company on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the launch of its broadcasting.

Dmitry Medvedev visited several studios accompanied by Communications and Mass Media Minister Igor Shchegolev and National State Television and Radio Company (VGTRK) CEO Oleg Dobrodeyev.

The President congratulated the staff of the company on the anniversary and held a videoconference with VGTRK regional divisions. In addition, Mr Medvedev visited the Radio Mayak studio.

Later, the President had a working meeting with Communications and Mass Media Minister Igor Shchegolev and Federal State Unitary Enterprise Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network (RTRS) CEO Andrei Romanchenko.
