OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2011. President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Head of the RF Presidential Staff Sergei Naryshkin.

The President of Armenia noted with satisfaction that the RF Presidential Staff has promptly responded to the proposal to stimulate interregional cooperation.

“We highly value your presence here today, as the head of such an impressive delegation. We are confident that thanks to large-scale events such as this one we will able to maintain the high level of relations established between our two countries. It emanates from our state and national interests, and reflects friendship between our peoples,” said President Sargsyan at the meeting with Sergei Naryshkin.

Sergei Naryshkin thanked the President of Armenia for the warm welcome and congratulated him with excellent organization of the first Armenian-Russian interregional conference and productive discussions.

“The conference revealed interests of the regions of our two countries and has provided an excellent opportunity to the regions to engage in cooperation, which in my opinion, will further the Armenian-Russian collaboration,” said the Head of the RF Presidential Staff Sergei Naryshkin.
