OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2011. A meeting between Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Alain Juppe, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the French Republic, took place in Berlin on the sidelines of the informal meeting of the Russia-NATO Council.

During their conversation, they discussed the state of and prospects for Russian-French relations, and a number of other themes, including the crisis situation in the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire and the military and political aspects of the current state of affairs in Libya from the viewpoint of implementing United Nations Security Council resolution 1973.
