OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2011. A meeting with the members of the high-level delegation led by Ronald Keller, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Turkmenistan, who was on a visit to the Turkmen capital, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. As was reported, the delegation consisted of representatives of over 20 business companies of this country.

A constructive discussion of the prospects and priority vectors of bilateral partnership and the possibilities to implement joint projects based on an equal and mutually beneficial basis took place during the meeting Ambassador Ronald Keller said that the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands attached considerable significance to enhancing mutually advantageous cooperation with Turkmenistan, which had the tremendous resource potential and promoted the open door policy and wide international cooperation under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Underscoring the profound potential to intensify bilateral cooperation, the diplomat confirmed that leading Dutch companies were interested in establishing close business contacts to facilitate collaboration in implementation of the large-scale programme of reforms aimed at modernization of the national economy. In this context emphasis was put on the readiness of the business circles of the Netherlands to offer their profound expertise and advanced technologies in various fields to Turkmen partners.

The members of the delegation had the meetings at the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations and the Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs in Ashgabat.
