OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2011. At the initiative of Egypt, Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Nabil Elaraby, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, held a telephone conversation.

The Ministers touched upon the issue of developing ties between Russia and Egypt, including cooperation in the field of tourism.

During the conversation they also discussed current aspects of regional situation, in particular, the developments in Libya.
