OREANDA-NEWS. March 01, 2011. Dmitry Medvedev received the nominations of candidates for the governorships of Kamchatka Territory and the Republic of Karachayevo-Circassia.

Earlier, the President accepted the early resignations of Governor of Kamchatka Territory Alexei Kuzmitsky and President of Karachayevo-Circassia Boris Ebzeyev.

Taking part in the meeting were First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Vladislav Surkov, Acting Secretary of the United Russia General Council’s Presidium Sergei Neverov, Chairman of the United Russia Supreme Council Boris Gryzlov, and Head of the party’s Central Executive Committee Andrei Vorobyev.
