OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2011. Dmitry Medvedev informed the minister about the establishment of Presidential awards for young cultural professionals and the presentation of 2011-2013 grants to six leading professional folk music and dance ensembles.

Earlier today Dmitry Medvedev signed the relevant Executive Order and instructions.

In total, over 300 million rubles [about USD 10 million] will be allocated for the grants. President Medvedev expressed his hope that this will help outstanding Russian music and dance ensembles to expand their performance tours around Russia.
