OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2010. The Heads of regional and district administrations are actively working on implementation of infrastructure projects in the regions. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov announced this during a working meeting with local leaders.

"Your tenure has obligatory be marked for your community by an activity. You need to use all the sources: the resources of local budgets, resources of companies, and, if necessary, address to the regional and local budgets. We will help you" - Mykola Azarov emphasized. He added that local leaders should focus on construction and reconstruction of hospitals, schools, roads and other social infrastructure facilities.

Separately, the Prime Minister focused on the need for reform in health care. "We need to create in the country a modern network of medical facilities and provide modern medical services" - the PM said. According to Mykola Azarov, in every regional centre new medical facilities should be established that can diagnose early and treat citizens. The Prime Minister informed that this year a number of medical institutions were put into operation, which have the world most advanced medical technology, which the citizens from all regions of Ukraine will use. "This year in Kiev, we have put into operation four most advanced medical centres: early diagnosis of cancer, the radiological treatment of cancer and more. These centres will be used by all citizens from all regions of Ukraine" - Mykola Azarov emphasized.

In addition, the Prime Minister said that the Government pays great attention to development of agriculture and, in particular, cheaper loans to farmers. "For the next year we build very good programs, cheaper loans to farmers - we shall incur interest payments on loans, but credit must be used in business" - Mykola Azarov summed up.
