OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2010. The Government and government agencies will be renewed by about 90%, Head of the Belarus President Administration Vladimir Makei said presenting new head of the Belarusian TV and Radio Company Gennady Davydko to the company’s employees on 29 December.

According to Vladimir Makei, the head of state is expected to make more personal decisions besides those announced on 28 December. “New appointments will extend to about 90% of the Government, the administration of various concerns subordinated to the Government, senior officials of courts and other government agencies,” the Head of the Belarus President Administration said. He emphasized that there is nothing extraordinary about these personnel decisions.

According to Vladimir Makei, the personnel register of the head of state needs to be renewed. People should be appointed to the positions where they can be most efficient. This principle underpins personnel decisions of the head of state, Vladimir Makei said.

He reminded that in line with the goals set at the Fourth All-Belarus People’s Congress, in the next five years the country should acquire a new image and make a real breakthrough in all the fields, including economy, agriculture, industry, culture, science and sport. “This will require maximum efforts from all of all, utmost responsibility from each executive,” Vladimir Makei added.
