OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2010. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov met in Moscow with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostiantyn Hryshchenko on December 10.

They noted the positive development of Russian-Ukrainian relations and stronger political dialogue between the two countries across the full range of their strategic partnership, which was vividly affirmed during the fourth meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission on November 26.

The parties discussed urgent issues in cooperation between Russia and Ukraine, including the functioning of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, and collaboration in the humanitarian sphere, within the UN and on Transnistrian conflict settlement.
