A meeting with Assunta Testa, Project Manager of the EC education project, who is n a working visit to our country, took place at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

This meeting of the representative of the European Commission and Turkmen parliamentarians, the second one held this year, focused on enhancement of collaboration and exchange of experiences as well as particular issues regarding development of joint projects. Discussing the current state and prospects for partnership in a number of important fields, the sides underscored the mutual willingness to maintain the constructive dialogue.

The EC representative was received at the Ministry of Finance where an exchange of experiences on the progress in and new objectives of collaboration in the framework of the EC-EU programmes “Implementation and Management of the Support Office in Turkmenistan” took place.

The prospects for expanding cooperation in the education sphere, development and implementation of joint projects will be the focus of the discussions with Project Manager Assunta Testa at the Ministry of Education and the National Institute of Education. during the visit the representative of the European Commission will attend the ceremony of opening the International Exhibition and Conference “Education, Science, Sport and Tourism in the Epoch of New Revival” on November 24.
