OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2010.  The Minister briefed the President on reconstruction work in towns and villages hit by the wildfires.

Mr Basargin said that almost 2,500 families in 17 regions lost their homes in the fires.

Dmitry Medvedev noted that housing and infrastructure in the affected locations must be rebuilt according to modern standards and quality and in keeping with the set deadlines.
