OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2010.  The Russian Federation in response to the Pakistani government’s appeal for emergency aid in coping with the most devastating floods in the last 80 years sent an EMERCOM Il-76 transport plane to Islamabad on August 17 carrying food and essentials provided by the Federal State Reserves Agency.

A second EMERCOM Il-76 plane carrying similar humanitarian supplies is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on August 19.
