OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2010. In these days an Iranian delegation led by Mohammad Haj-Rasuliha, Chief of the Department for Engineering and Technology of the Ministry of Water Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran is on a visit to the Turkmen capital.

A constructive exchange of views on the prospects for and promising fields of mutually advantageous cooperation in the energy and water sectors took place during the meetings at the Ministry of Energy and Industry and the Ministry of Water Industry of Turkmenistan.

Expressing interest in expanding long-term fruitful partnership in these sectors, the guests put emphasis on their intention to intensify traditionally friendly collaboration in the framework of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian dialogue based on the profound economic and resource potential of the two neighbouring counties embodied in large-scale investment projects.

The programme of the visit of Mr. Mohammad Haj-Rasuliha and the members of the Iranian delegation included the visits to landmarks of the Turkmen capital and its vicinities, well-known historical and archeological monuments and museums of the country.
