OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2010. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, met in Moscow with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Celso Amorim, on April 25.

During the conversation a number of topical themes related to further strengthening the Russian-Brazilian strategic partnership were examined along with discussing the questions of preparation for an upcoming visit to Russia by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

An exchange of views took place on international problems, in particular, the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear program in the context of ongoing efforts to find its political and diplomatic settlement.
