OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2010. A delegation of the Portuguese Republic led by Joao Gomes Cravinho, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation is on a visit in Ashgabat

During the visit to the Turkmen capital the delegation was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy and Development. During the talks the guests said that Portugal was keenly interested in developing the constructive intergovernmental dialogue and mutually advantageous partnership with Turkmenistan in all fields including the trade and economic and humanitarian spheres.

Calling for expanding Turkmen-Portuguese cooperation, the sides underscored the existing profound potential of cooperation which would be fostered for the benefit of the two friendly countries.
