OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2010. Head of the Belarus President Administration Vladimir Makei held a meeting with Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Marc Perrin de Brichambaut on 15 March.

The sides discussed the development of cooperation between Belarus and the OSCE and the activities of the OSCE Office in Minsk.

In particular, Vladimir Makei noted that Belarus intends to continue the active cooperation with OSCE taking into account the equal approach to all areas of the OSCE activities.

Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, in turn, thanked Belarus for close attention to the cooperation within the OSCE.

The sides touched upon the problems of the OSCE reformation, including the relevant proposals of Kazakh chairmanship.

The meeting also highlighted other issues of current interest.
