OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2010. A Russian delegation led by Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation arrived in Ashgabat.

During the working visit the members of the Russian delegation will held a series of the bilateral meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in particular to discuss the approaches to further intensifying traditional versatile Turkmen-Russian cooperation which was developed in the past years on a long-term, mutually advantageous and equal basis.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is expected to receive the honorary guest – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
